It's amazing how quickly tomorrow becomes ten years ago...
I didn't realize the validity of that statement until I had my two children. As a girl, I knew I was artistic. I studied art and design in college. After earning a bachelor's in Fine Art, I worked in the design field for 14 years. My artistic experience is diverse. Graphic design, marketing, advertising, concepting, drawing and painting, sculpture - you name it, I've done it. But nothing intrigues me like photography. It stole my heart the day it entered it. As an artist - photography is my favorite medium. Photographs are so important. They stir up such emotion and nostalgia... make our lives textured and rich. They are a portal into remembrance. Photographs can bring tears, warmth and joy when we remember the moments that surround different times in our life. Moments will pass. Children will grow. Loved ones will depart. Photographs remain. My goal is to create treasured heirlooms for my clients that they will enjoy for years to come. Photography is my full-time job. This is all I have done for four years now... and I couldn't be happier.
My website is in honor of my sister, Jessica. She was a flower girl, a hippie child displaced in a belated era. If you have not done so, please take a moment to watch the TRIBUTE section of my website - it is dedicated to her.
