{Chicago Trip for work and fun} Personal

My hubby likes to go with me when I shoot sometimes. We recently ventured to Chicago because I had three engagement sessions to shoot in one day! Thankful the weather was cooperative and we got some great shots! When you go to Chicago you must partake in two things: Pizza... and cheesecake. Between my love of my husband, food and my job? I was a happy, happy girl.

My hubby took these. He may be a lead electrician for a nuclear plant - but man can he shoot. :) Jack of all trades. I actually like these shots he took of me!

I haven't really ever been able to shoot Chicago at night. I soooo enjoyed this. I have been to this town so many times in my life. But this.. this was a change of pace and I really enjoyed just walking around and shooting with him at night. This city has my heart every time ... it's an incredibly beautiful city. And the smells and tastes of Chicago are something you must experience in your lifetime. Unforgettable.

The Bean is such a great touristy thing to do... and Paul and I always enjoy going there and being silly. Ironically when I photographed the bean from this side I didn't see the couple taking a selfie. Their flash went off right as I snapped. Ha. Wish I knew them and could send them this cute pix I got of them. Haha..

He's so clever... and me the photographer.. the one who poses people for a living? I cannot think of a pose to put myself in for the life of me under the scrutinizing pressure of matching up to his... so? I blow kisses. Lol. Works every time.

Each of the three couples I shot wanted some kind of Wacker St. bridge in their photos. Loved that!

My camera is really like a baby. And this lens is my favorite. 85 1.2 - at one point in the course of the day I thought maybe I lost this lens. I was surprised at how well I kept my composure while looking around. Sure enough it was sitting outside of my bag.. BIG SIGH of relief. Lol. It may be the windy city.. but that heavy lens ain't blowing no where. It was right where I put it.

Lastly.. as a sidenote - Toms are so cute - and I was so happy with my new black fleece-lined wedges I wanted to wear them, but... choose comfort over fashion when you are going to be on your feet for 7+ hours that day. Lol. We girls, we girls.
