Officially the first time was at a Notre Dame tailgate. We were introduced by our friends. After that we had our first sober meeting about a month later when Ben was too much of a wuss to talk to me. After some encouragement from our friends I got his phone number and the rest was history! :)

 

We love to travel. Even if its just a night away in New Buffalo. We enjoy pretending we don't have responsibilities back at home waiting for us. 

 

Ben took me to Corndance. I was so nervous I didn't eat and he told me later I talked out of the side of my mouth the whole time. 

After our second date on my parents driveway. We both walked away thinking we could have done better - out of practice and what not. Our second kiss was WAAAAAAAAYY better. 

 

We do but they aren't worth publishing. Kind of embarassing. hah!

 

What is your favorite food as a couple?
Good pizza and wine usually hits the spot for both of us. 

 

2 and a half years. 
 

Yes, we have an enormous cat named Bebe (baby) he weighs 22 lbs. 

 

Ben enjoys golf and football. I usually try to avoid getting stuck watching either. 

 

A month before Ben proposed we randomly went ring researching.  We went around to three stores and with no idea what costs were or anything I tried on lots of rings and picked out a bunch that I liked. Three weeks after this Ben got mail from Jared Jewelers that said "statement enclosed" that of course I saw when I wasn't supposed to. I then pretended I hadn't and a couple days later when to visit my dad and told him what I had found in mail. Literally 10 minutes after telling my dad, he gets a text from Ben that he stupidly reads outloud not thinking twice about it "hey are you and Mrs. Morris availabletonight? Don't tell Sarah." BOOM. So not only did I know he bought the ring, he is planning to ask my parents. But I continue to play dumb. The next day Ben and I go get drinks with some friends and the minute Ben leaves to go to the bathroom I tell all of our friends what I think is going on. (Also I will add this is Christmas time and I have been putting all of Ben's gifts under the tree and he has not even put one under the tree for me!) Anyway Ben comes back from the bathroom and eventually I go use the bathroom and one of our friends tells Ben I know whats going on. But he doesn't have a chance to say anything else before I came back to the table. So we go home and we aren't really talking and Ben is on his phone writing a text out to our friend to find out what all I know but he accidentally sends it to me! I look at my phone and just say "so do you want me to keep pretending I don't know anything?" Ben is in shock. He really believed I knew nothing. I explain everything and then he leaves the room. Comes back and proposes to me. I love this man but I love even more how everything got ruined that he had so poorly planned. His plan was to stick the ring on the tree the next morning and then tell me "hey look over there" ...so awful. hah! I love him so much. Its not the worse proposal story ever but its such a pain to retell! haha!
